Local Support Group Resources:
Young Survivor Coalition Support Group – This network is designed for breast cancer survivors diagnosed in their 40’s or younger regardless of your current age. Whether you have just been diagnosed, are still undergoing treatment or are several years out, join us to connect with others. Carilion Clinic Support Group – This support group gives recently diagnosed breast cancer patients the opportunity to meet other women who are sharing similar experiences.
LewisGale Women’s Cancer Support Group – This support group is committed to the encouragement and emotional support of those who are experiencing or who have survived cancer. Email womenscancergroup@HCAHealthcare.com or call Denise Lockhart at 540-776-4631 for more information.
LewisGale Breast Cancer Family Support Group – This group offers support to the families of survivors to help address the mental and emotional well being of co-survivors.
